POWER Tools
POWER Tools are General Sessions that provide creatives with an opportunity to learn from qualified and experienced instructors.
POWER Tools cover a variety of topics relevant to Creative Worship Arts Ministry as well as Leadership.
Each session consists of a time of fellowship/connection, worship and practical teaching and a question and answer period to help creatives with their journey and to prepare them to better serve their ministries and communities.
Lessons
Lessons are vocal, dance or instrumental instruction that give students of all ages the opportunity to learn in a one-on-one environment. Each semester consists of 8 lessons. Students will gain practical, foundational knowledge and develop skills that will make them better vocalists, dancers or instrumentalists.
Like Minds
Like-Minds Breakout sessions @ WORSHIPOWER U are interest-specific cell groups that are designed to provide students with practical instruction and guidance in their specific area of Creative Arts Ministry. Creatives will have a platform to discuss relevant topics and will benefit from connecting with other like-minded creatives.
Links
Links is a Mentorship and Internship Program that connects students with a music/ministry mentor. Students will have the opportunity to glean and learn from qualified and experienced mentors as well as have access to Internship opportunities.
Vocal Boot Camp
The Vocal Boot Camp provides students with an authentic gospel music experience. Using a rote style of teaching, students will be trained with foundational skills and practices for learning and singing gospel music.
This course will focus on learning by ear, harmonies/vocal parts and vocal techniques. This course encourages improvisation in solo and group settings as well as an understanding of primarily contemporary gospel choir music.
Student Plans
New Students - Along with a $35 Registration Fee, an introductory letter must accompany your application form. This letter should outline who you are, your past experience and your ministry/musical goals.
